Students at Plymouth Community Schools returned to the classroom on Wednesday.
At Riverside Intermediate, students spent the day participating in classroom activities to help them get back into the swing of things.
Riverside Intermediate Principal Kyle Coffman said they want to make sure students are getting everything they need while in the classroom.
"This building is 5th and 6th grade so developmentally we are really focused on a number of needs that our students have. You know, academic, behavioral, and also social emotional," said Principal Coffman.
This school year's theme is "To Essential and Beyond" because they want to make sure students have the essential skills to become successful in life.
