Plymouth medical centers cleared after alleged threat

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- According to the Plymouth Police Department, they received information about a possible threat against the staff of the Bowen Center on Illinois Street.


The threat stemmed from an incident that happened Tuesday morning, but police did not release information about specifics of the threat.


While investigating, the Bowen Center and the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Plymouth were both placed on lockdown.


Police spoke with the individual who allegedly made the threat and then lifted the lockdown.

The two health centers were on lockdown for just under 2 hours.
