Police arrest two men suspected of trying to steal money from ATM

ST. JOSEPH, Mich. -- Two men have been arrested for allegedly trying to fraudulently receive money from an ATM, according to St. Joseph Township Police. Police said they may be involved in these types of incidents nationwide.

Police were called to the United Federal Credit Union training center on S. Cleveland to investigate an incident involving the ATM.

When officers arrived, they apprehended two suspects who unsuccessfully attempted to fraudulently receive money from the ATM, police said.

Police said the investigation showed the two men, both from Venezuela, were involved in these types of incidents nationwide, according to reports.

The suspects are currently in the Berrien County Jail. Their names have not been released.
