Police asking for help in identifying armed robbery suspect

Elkhart County Sheriff’s Detectives are investigating the armed robbery of a gas station.

The robbery happened on Saturday around 1:08 a.m. at the 7-11 store in the 25000 block of County Road 6 in Elkhart.

Officers say a male suspect entered the 7-11 store wearing a mask and fired his weapon demanding money from the clerk.

After obtaining money, the suspect fled on foot.
