Police blame speed for the death of an Elkhart County man

ELKHART CO., Ind. -- A 30-year-old man died in an early morning crash in Elkhart County.
Police said he drove off the road around 7 a.m. on County Road 146.
The car jumped over a large ditch, sending his Mustang airborne, and finally flipping over.
Police said that Kevin Schaffer was ejected and he died at the scene.
They believe that he may have been driving too fast.
