SHIAWASSEE COUNTY, Mich. -- Police are looking for the man they say held up a Bank of America near Detroit and then fled with thousands of dollars in cash.
Police say they tracked the man all the way to Shiawassee County. There, he got out of his car and ran into a heavily-wooded area where he was surrounded by a heavy police presence, a chopper, and even the SWAT team.
"Right now he has got to be very cold. They've got negotiators here to see if they can convince him to come out and get him into custody and safely in," said officer.
Police say they think he is also the same man who robbed a credit union in Michigan on February 26th.
