Police cruiser rear ended in accident

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- Police are investigating an officer involved crash near Mishawaka.
The accident happened on State Road 23 near Main Street around 3 p.m. Monday involving a work van and a South Bend Police cruiser.
The van rear ended the cruiser, according to police.
The officer was not injured.
