Police: Florida teen shoots, kills classmate on bus

HOMESTEAD, Fla. -- Wednesday, a South Florida teenager is in Juvenile Detention for shooting a girl while riding a school bus.
The 15-year-old waived his right to appear in court Wednesday.
An arrest report says the teen took a gun from his backpack Tuesday and began displaying it on the bus. He then fired it once, hitting 13-year-old Lourdes Guzman. She died at the hospital.
The boy is charged with manslaughter and carrying a concealed firearm.
