A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Goshen early Wednesday morning, according to Goshen Police.
Officers were called to Kercher Road and Century Drive to investigate a crash involving a truck and pedestrian just before 6 a.m.
A Ford F150 driven by 52-year-old Bruce Selner of Ashley, Indiana allegedly struck 47-year-old Brian O Belote, who was crossing the street.
Selner told officers that he did not see the pedestrian until just before striking him and he was unable to avoid the accident.
Belote was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the incident was accidental, but the investigation is ongoing.
