Police identify victims injured in shooting at Family Express on Edison

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The three people who were injured in a shooting Saturday evening have been identified by Mishawaka Police.

When police arrived just before 10 p.m., they located the first victim inside a vehicle with a gunshot found to her leg. She was identified as Sicerie Brooks, 42.

A second victim was located inside a residence in the 1500 block of Hickory. Police said 61-year-old Scott Marvin was lying in his bed when a bullet traveled from the gas station into his home. He was shot in his side.

A third victim, 25-year-old Christian Tate, showed up at an area hospital with a gunshot wound to his abdomen. He told police he was shot at the Family Express.

All victims are stable, but critical.
