Police in Goshen searching for missing teens

GOSHEN, Ind. – The Goshen Police Department said that a 13-year-old Goshen Middle School student and an 18-year-old Goshen High School student both went missing Friday afternoon.

13-year-old Kaeclin Shepard and 18-year-old Makayla Snyder were last behind Goshen Middle School. Police say that they are alleged runaways.

Kaeclin is diabetic and dependent on insulin and requires an insulin injection every 12 hours. Police say she does not have any medication with her.

The parents of the two girls are asking for the community’s help in locating them.

If you have seen the girls anywhere since 2:30 this afternoon, please call Elkhart County Dispatch 574-533-4151 or 9-1-1.

Been found! Time to arrest the 18 year old for contributing to the delinquency of a minor and arrest the other for delinquency. We can't keep filling up the system with young runaways then taking vital time away from law enforcement!
