Report of explosion in South Bend cleared

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Police were dispatched to reports of an explosion in the 2900 block of Prast Boulevard, according to St. Joseph County dispatch.
The incident was reported at 2:44 p.m. and the scene was cleared shortly after the call.
The call was either a false call or a firework, according to dispatch.
