Police investigating reports of shots fired on E. Michigan Blvd

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- Michigan City Police responded to a shots fired call Friday evening on E. Michigan Boulevard.

Just before 11 p.m., a resident called dispatch to report her residence in the 1000 block of E. Michigan Boulevard had been struck by gunfire.

There were no injuries in the incident.

A witness reported seeing a gray or silver 4-door car with tinted windows leaving the area shortly after hearing multiple gunshots, police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
