ELKHART, Ind. -- Elkhart Police are investigating a shooting that happened on Eden Street Tuesday afternoon.

Officers Police were called to the 1300 Eden Street around 6:30 p.m. for reports of a shooting with injuries.

When officers arrived on the scene they located 21-year-old Cameron Williams with a gunshot wound.

He was taken to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said Williams is recovering from his injuries.
