Police: Missing man’s truck located

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. – The Starke County Sheriff’s Office received a call around 2:30 am on Sunday from Two Harbors Minnesota police department saying they have located James Runkle’s truck.

Runkle was not with the truck and neither was the kayak that had been in the truck bed.

The truck was located near a public access point to Lake Superior.

Minnesota police are attempting to find Runkle and check on his well-being.

This investigation has become a welfare check situation and continues at this time.
