Police release identity of pedestrian killed in crash

ELKHART, Ind. -- The Elkhart Police Department released the name of the pedestrian killed in an accident on SR 19 Saturday.
Police said at 12:30 p.m. they responded to an accident in the 2200 block of SR19 involving a pedestrian.
Police said the pedestrian died from his injuries.
He has been identified as 72-year-old Joe Scroggins of Elkhart.
