Police release surveillance photos of Spider-Man robbing Warsaw CVS
WARSAW, Ind. – It may sound like a joke, but if you saw Spider-Man in Warsaw early Monday morning police would like to talk to you.
At around 4:10 a.m. two men carrying guns entered the CVS Pharmacy at 100 North Detroit Street, one wore a Spider-Man mask and the other had on a tan hat with a blue bandana covering his face. The duo ordered employees to open the store’s safe and then lie on the floor. The thieves then made off with an undisclosed amount of medication.
Employees said the two men couldn’t get out of the front door so left out of one of the side emergency exits. Warsaw Police responded to the scene and used a K-9 unit to sniff out the path the thieves used to escape. The dog found a trail leading north along nearby railroad tracks but lost the scent near the Salvation Army parking lot on Arthur Street.
The two suspects are described as white males, both are estimated to be 20-30 years old.
