Police release update in Lerner Theatre threat

The Elkhart Police Department has completed its investigation into threats left on the voice mail of a Lerner Theatre employee. The caller threatened to commit mass murder at the next concert.
During the investigation, detectives quickly identified a suspect.
Detectives completed their investigation and forwarded information to the Elkhart County Prosecutor's Office for review.
The suspect is in custody at the Elkhart County Correctional Facility on an unrelated charge.
