Police respond to incidents at Concord High School

Concord Community Schools Superintendent John Trout issued press release about several separate incidents that happened at Concord High School Thursday.

The first incident was a fight between two male students while they were waiting to have their pictures taken at approximately 9:20 a.m.

Trout says one of the students was hit and got a bloody nose.

In the second incident, Trout says two female students with connections to the two male students who fought were also involved in an altercation.

Trout says both incidents were addressed by the administration and law enforcement was contacted after the first incident.

During the investigation of the incident, the school administration and the law enforcement investigators learned of a rumor circulating that one of the male students brought a gun to school.

The school was locked down and additional students were interviewed.

No weapon was found during a search of the school.

Normal school activities resumed at 11:40 a.m.
