13-year-old runaway found safe

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- South Bend Police have located 13-year-old Alliyah Taber, who was reported as a runaway by family members.

Family members contacted police because they had not seen her since Tuesday at 4 p.m.

Taber suffers from a medical condition that requires medication. Her family told police she has seizures that could be deadly if she is off her medication too long.

Patrol officers located Taber and she was taken for treatment.
