Police searching for armed robbery suspects in Dodge Caravan

BENTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- Benton Township Police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at a gas station on M139 Thursday morning.

Around 9:45 a.m., police were dispatched to the Marathon at 1691 M139 for a report of an armed robbery.

The victim told police he was pumping gas when the suspects pulled up in a silver Dodge Caravan.

The suspects got out of the van, showed a gun and demanded the victim’s belongings.

The victim complied and the suspects then got back in the van and drove away.

One suspect was wearing a black sweatshirt with an Adidas logo, black shoes with white shoelaces.

The vehicle is a silver or gray Dodge Caravan with a broken driver’s side taillight. It also appears the front driver’s side hub cap is darker than the other three on the vehicle, police said.

Police said the victim was not injured in the incident.
