Police searching for driver involved in hit-and-run

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Police are searching for the driver accused of hitting a child riding a bicycle and leaving the scene.
The incident happened just before 7:30 p.m. Tuesday evening near Western Avenue and Walnut Street in South Bend.
The 11-year-old victim had a cut on her head and was taken to the hospital, officials said.
Police have not yet released information about the driver they’re looking for or the car involved.
