Police searching for suspects in armed robbery at Elkhart gas station

ELKHART, Ind.—Police are searching for suspects in connection with an armed robbery that occurred at an Elkhart gas station on June 6.

Around 11:54 p.m. on Thursday, officers responded to the 7-Eleven in the 1400 block of S. Nappanee St. regarding an alarm.

According to reports, five male subjects entered the store and demanded money. They obtained an unknown amount of money and left the area.

Two of the subjects were reportedly armed, according to police.

A dark colored vehicle was seen in the area shortly after the robbery.

The case remains under investigation by the Elkhart Police Department.
