ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind.—The St. Joseph County Metro Homicide Unit (CMHU) is asking the public for help locating two individuals in an investigation into the June 7 fatal shooting on Buckskin Lane.

The June 7 shooting in the 2700 block of Buckskin Lane resulted in the death of Isaiah Durham, 33.

CMHU is asking to speak with:

  • Diquan Kadeen Weeks, 24, is described as a black male who is 5’ 7” tall, weighs 160 pounds and has black hair and brown eyes.
  • Dominique Herron, 23, is described as a black female who is 5’ 5” tall, weighs 200 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.

Both individuals’ last known addresses are in South Bend but police believe they may have left the area.

Investigators believe the two might have been in the apartment on Buckskin Lane in close proximity to where Durham was shot.

Priscilla Simmons was Durham’s sister who lives in Minnesota.

“My brother he had, he had a huge heart. Always happy,” Simmons said.

Isaiah’s sister tells ABC57 that he didn’t have kids, but he had 15 nieces and nephews that he cared for with all of his heart.

She says the family is in shock.

“It’s like it’s still not real, you know,” Simmons said. “I want him to be remembered as courageous, brave, and a huge heart.”

Now, the family is waiting for justice.

“You know it’s going to be a healing process, and I think a part of that healing is justice. And I just pray to God that they catch these people,” said Simmons.
