Police stop semi that nearly lost its trailer

A semi was stopped by police in the 54000 block of Walnut Road in New Carlisle because it nearly lost its trailer.
St. Joseph County Police pulled over the semi because it was pulling toxic chemicals and it appeared the trailer was coming loose.
They didn't want the trailer coming loose and causing a hazardous leak.
The semi has been reconnected and the scene was cleared.
