Police: Zumba dance studio doubling as a brothel
KENNEBUNK, Maine -- A woman who runs a Zumba dance studio in Maine is mixed up with prostitution allegations.
According to police in Kennebunk, the studio was doubling as a brothel.
Wright has not said anything since the scandal broke. She was arrested and charged with more 100 counts of prostitution and even secretly taped many of the encounters.
Her alleged business partner's attorney said there is a list of over 100 names of men that could be made public but claimed his client has nothing to do with it.
"I am told there are police officers, firemen, accountants, TV personalities, lawyers," said attorney Dan Lilley. "It runs the gamut of Americans at least in Maine and there are a lot of people apparently who are going to summoned into court."
The judge said the decision to release the names has been appealed to Maine's Supreme Court. But people of the town are bracing for the potential fallout.
