Portage Avenue to close September 16 for repairs

Portage Avenue detour map provided by the City of South Bend SOUTH BEND, Ind.—Portage Avenue will close September 16 to repair a water service line, the City of South Bend said.
Portage Avenue will be closed for the repairs from Kinyon Street to Queen Street until the anticipated reopening date, which is September 19.
Detour routes will be in place 24 hours per day during the repairs.
