Post office, mall hours adjusted for Christmas holiday

MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- It may be a little too late to get those gifts there by Christmas, but if you still need to head to the post office you'll need to plan accordingly.

The post office is open Monday until noon, that's also when the blue collection boxes will be emptied. Mail will be delivered on schedule ahead of the Christmas holiday.

All post offices will be closed Christmas Day. Express mail will be delivered on Christmas day. All post offices will reopen on Wednesday.

You'll also want to keep an eye on the clock if you're heading to the mall. University Park Mall is changing its hours for the holiday.

You can start your shopping early. The doors open at 7 a.m., but the mall will actually close early Monday at 6 p.m.

U.P. Mall will be closed all day on Christmas, but will reopen Wednesday at 7 a.m. for a full day to score Christmas deals. The mall will be open until 9 p.m.
