These celebrations will take place on June 17, July 15, and August 19, form 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Admission to the Zoo for Third Thursdays and the mini-celebrations are $11 for adults ages 15 to 61, $9 for children ages two to 14, and free for babies ages two and under and seniors ages 62 and up.

Zoo members are free.

Zoo activities to commemorate 100 years includes giveaways, music, games, ice cream, a video birthday card, and more.

The Zoo also asks the public to share its memories and pictures to celebrate the milestone.

“We want to know what you remember about the Potawatomi Zoo,” said Josh Sisk, Executive Director of the Zoo. “So many of our visitors are second or third generation residents, and we know there’s a wealth of community knowledge we’d love to learn.”

Pictures and Zoo memories can be emailed to [email protected] or shared on the Zoo’s Facebook page.

Memories will be compiled and shared with the public over the summer.
