Powerball Jackpot at $550 million

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. -- The Powerball Jackpot has jumped to $550 million for Wednesday's drawing. And the country and area has caught Powerball fever.

Overnight, the lottery increased the jackpot because of sales. And that leaves some wondering, what they would do with the money should they win.

"Pay off bills and give my mom some money to get out of debt herself," said Jerry Lisenko.

Another person said he help people out.

"I'd make sure my family is taken care of and stuff and after that, I'm gonna help people," said Roger Brewer.

But don't get those hopes up to high.

People have a better shot at becoming a victim of a shark attack, dying in a plane crash or getting struck by lightning more than once then winning the lottery.

The chances of having the winning the combination is 1-in-175 million.
