President Biden nominates Clifford Johnson for US Attorney for Northern District

President Joe Biden has nominated Clifford D. Johnson as the US Attorney for the Northern District of Indiana.

The nomination was announced Monday.

Johnson was the Assistant US Attorney for the Northern District from 1986 to 2020.

Before that, he was a trial attorney in the employment litigation section of the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division in Washington DC.

Johnson received his JD from Valparaiso University Law School in 1980.

The former US Attorney, Thomas Kirsch, is now a United States Circuit Judge for the Seventh Circuit.

Tina L. Nommay is the Acting US Attorney for the Northern District.
