President visits areas devastated by tornado

MAYFLOWER, Ark. -- President Obama was in central Arkansas to take a look at the damage from last month's deadly tornadoes.

The tornado that struck the Arkansas towns of Mayflower and Vilonia was a powerful EF-4. Winds reached up to 190 miles an hour leveling much of both towns.

The National Weather Service says the twister was on the ground for more than 41 minutes.
