Project Tornado: Jefferson Elementary in Plymouth

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -

On Monday, the ABC 57 First Warning Weather Team kicked off Project Tornado at Jefferson Elementary in Plymouth with nearly 200 students.

ABC 57 is going to as many schools as possible over the next several weeks to keep students informed on what they should.

The team works to teach the students and their families how to find their safe spot.

“I think this was a great reinforcer to what we do at school, helping them remember to be safe, follow directions to understand what they should have and should not do in the event of an emergency. I think this was a great opportunity for our students,” says Jefferson Elementary School Principal Angela Mills.

Currently, 30 schools are signed up.
