Property owner finds crashed vehicle, driver Tuesday morning

A property owner discovered a vehicle and its deceased driver on his property Tuesday morning on North Old US Highway 31.

The property owner called Fulton County dispatch just before 11 a.m. Tuesday after discovering an overturned vehicle and a body.

The Fulton County Sheriff's Department responded to the scene.

Their investigation revealed the driver, later identified as Andrew Overmyer of Argos, was ejected from the vehicle after it ran off the road, struck a fence, a tree stump, then a tree.

The vehicle came to a rest on its side.

The sheriff's department is investigating.
