Proposed South Bend smoking ban officially off the table

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The proposed South Bend smoking ban is officially off the table.
We told you it was a possibility on Thursday night.
On friday, the sponsors continued the bill indefinitely.
The proposal would prohibit smoking in all South Bend restaurants and bars.
The common council postponed the vote last month because members wanted more community input.
