ELKHART,Ind. -- The Elkhart County Commissioners will offer guided public tours of the new Elkhart County Courthouse from August 4 to 8, ahead of its official opening for trials later this fall. Located at 1905 Reliance Road, the facility features modern upgrades and an improved layout, which visitors can preview during the scheduled tours.

Tours will run Monday from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday from 12 to 4 p.m., and again from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Each 60-minute tour will run every 30 minutes and accommodate up to 30 participants, with larger groups asked to split or reserve in advance. Attendees will not visit every office or courtroom but will receive an overview of key areas and operations. Once the building opens for judicial use, public access will be limited.

Guests must follow site guidelines, including a prohibition on food and drink. Groups of 10 or more are encouraged to contact [email protected] in advance with their preferred start time.
