Purdue student fighting for right to carry a gun to school

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. --  A debate is ongoing in West Lafayette on whether or not college students can be allowed to carry a gun to school.

A Purdue student is fighting for his right to carry. Zach Briggs has written a resolution to support his stance. He plans to present it to the student government.

If it is passed there, the resolution would then go to the university senate before reaching the school's board of trustees.
