Purdue's Rube Goldberg machine is a record Boilerbreaker

WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Blown away by the Boilermakers.

Purdue University students broke a Guinness World Record for the largest Rube Goldberg machine ever.

The engineer team's elaborate design takes 300 steps just to do one simple task, pop a balloon.

The team's machine even included an active steam engine or boiler as a nod to their school mascot.
