Purely Michigan ribbon cutting

ST JOSEPH, Mich. -- A new line of Michigan-only products is now open in Saint Joseph.

Saturday, "Purely Michigan" officially opened its doors in a ribbon cutting ceremony.
The store opened to help support purely and truly Michigan made items.
They sell everything from basic items like food products, shirts, and pillows.
But, they also have special items like posters and even tote bags made out of sails!
The owner told us she thinks the store will catch on
"I think it's going to be a huge success because every store front downtown is full and we're having a great time supporting each other and sending people back and forth to each others stores," said Lynne Christiano from Purely Michigan.
Christiano told us she hopes to capitalize on the trend to buy local.
