Quilt Gardens return to Elkhart County May 30

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Elkhart County’s award-winning Quilt Gardens return to the Heritage Trail beginning May 30.

Now in its 15th year, the Quilt Gardens are live art displays featuring an estimated one million flowers across 17 gardens.

The gardens can be found in Elkhart, Goshen, Bristol, Middlebury, Wakarusa, and Nappanee.

They will be free to view until September 15.

Returning to the Quilt Gardens this year are 24 bronze sculptures by artist Sward Johnson, which will be on display at Quilt Gardens sites and other locations.

Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau is also installing 27 sculptures by various artists around Elkhart County.

The sculptures are part of the county’s Epic Art Adventures exhibition.

“It’s going to be a fun summer in Elkhart County for residents and visitors. Whether you’re out bicycling and walking, attending community festivals, enjoying outdoor concerts, or going out to dinner, you will not be far from amazing artwork,” Hunsberger said.
