The driest start to March on record is finally quenched with showers, and possibly some thunder Thursday morning. Unfortunately for the drought, rainfall estimated continue to drop, now only hopeful for a quarter inch of rain through midday. Fair weather returns quickly, though cooler. Temperatures fall from 60 early Thursday, through the 50s in the afternoon. The weekend is fair, dry and seasonal. The next focus turns to Monday with rain and possibly a mix of snow, ground temperatures make it unlikely for much accumulation.

Tonight: Windy evening, early morning rain. Low of 60.
Thursday: AM showers, rumbles of thunder possible. Falling from 60.
Friday: Mostly sunny. High 52.
Sunday: Mostly sunny. High 50.
