Sunday, November 17, 2024
The most active weather week in recent memory is in store. Roller coaster temperatures and a mix of precipitation is surely possible this week. In the meantime, tonight will hold on to mostly cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 40s, so a "warm" night ahead. As warmer air heads north on Monday, afternoon showers will break out especially after 2-3p or so. A cold front then swings in late Monday night, bringing even heavier showers into Tuesday morning. Tuesday will be the warmest day this week with highs in the 60s. Cold air wraps in beginning Wednesday, and it could get cold enough for rain to switch to or mix with snow Wednesday night and Thursday. Thursday is the coldest day with highs around 40 degrees. It also looks to be breezy on Thursday, so the weather will be pretty nasty then. Lake enhanced showers, mostly rain variety, persists into Friday and maybe Saturday with highs still in the 40s. Another system could move in early next week!
Tonight: Mostly cloudy. Low 44.
Monday: AM mostly cloudy, PM rain showers. High 59.
Tuesday: AM rain showers. High 65.
Wednesday: Scattered rain showers. High 49.
