Rain showers and drizzle are possible late tonight with a lull in any precipitation late Tuesday morning into the early afternoon. Rain and scattered thunderstorms are likely after 2 PM Tuesday into Tuesday evening with a chance of some stronger to perhaps severe storms south of US 30. Temperatures will range from the 40s in the north to the upper 50s in our southern counties.
Windy conditions, much colder air and light snow move in Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. An inch is possible on grassy surfaces. The pattern stays active with chances for rain and/or snow Thursday into Friday. Conditions look dry for the South Bend Cubs home opener on Saturday, but it will be very chilly.
Tonight: Mostly cloudy with showers late. Low of 37.
Tuesday: Cloudy with AM showers, then PM rain and T-storms. Slight severe threat. High of 50.
Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a chance for AM snow. Highs in the lower 30s.
Thursday: Increasing clouds with a chance of rain and snow late. Highs in the low 40s.
