Hot and Humid Independence Day, Storms return Sunday
Rain showers continue until around 10 AM, and then only a slight chance for a shower remains through the afternoon. The evening looks dry and mostly cloudy. Temperatures warm into the upper 40s today, but it will be a bit breezy. Tonight stays dry with lows in the mid 30s.
On Sunday, we will stay dry through most of the day, but the next system moves in by the evening. Precipitation will start as rain through the evening, and turn to snow late overnight. The worst of the system will be in Illinois and Wisconsin, but we could still pick up between 2-4” of snow in our northwest counties. The southeast side of Michiana will likely see no accumulation at all.
Today: Morning showers, then mostly cloudy, high of 48.
Sunday: Cloudy and breezy, evening rain, high of 46.
Monday: Mostly cloudy, a few snow showers, windy, high of 33.
