An active Thursday; wind, rain and a temperature roller-coaster into the weekend. Rain will spread across the area by midday Thursday, steady through the afternoon. The wind will gust up to 30 mph by the evening. Temperatures climb towards the low 50s Thursday evening and stay mild through early Friday. Temperatures fall through the day Friday and stay in the 30s this weekend.
A punch of cold air looks to be on-tap for the New Year and that could mean lake effect snow. However at this time there’s no long-lasting arctic outbreak.
