Storm threat today holds relatively low severe risk
Happy Earth Day, and happy Friday! If you’re planning to clean up any litter today for the holiday, make sure to wear your rain gear as you head outdoors.
Rain showers start early this morning, and turn into a more steady rain through the afternoon. It's not a complete washout, however, there will be some pockets of time where you can get outdoors.
Temperatures in the low 40s this morning climb into the low 60s by afternoon. There’s a chance we hear a rumble of thunder this evening, but no severe weather is expected.
Rain moves out late tonight, then we’ll see dry weather Saturday.
It’s warm to start the weekend, climbing all the way into the 80s. Be prepared for gusty winds Saturday afternoon.
Temperatures are still warm in the mid 70s Sunday, but we’ll see rain showers and afternoon thunderstorms.
A few showers could carry over into early Monday morning, otherwise next week looks quiet.
Temperatures fall below normal again next week with highs in the 50s.
Today: Rain. A rumble of thunder is possible late. High 62.
Tonight: Showers early. Breezy. Low 57.
Saturday: Mix of sun and clouds. Windy. High 82.
Sunday: Showers, PM thunderstorms. Windy. High 75.
