Warmer than average highs this week, but chilly nights ahead
Rain starts early Thursday morning and will continue off-and-on through the day. A quarter inch of rain is likely before 7:00 PM with another quarter inch after 7:00 PM. There is a small window to play baseball Thursday night or at least get a game started for the South Bend Cubs home opener. Showers linger into early Friday, then clouds begin to break. Temperatures warm near 70 this weekend, Saturday the drier day with rain likely again Sunday.
Tonight: Cloudy, light rain after midnight, low of 40.
Thursday: Rain likely, high of 48.
Friday: Mostly cloudy, chance of rain early then partial clearing, high of 56.
Saturday: Partly cloudy, high of 68.
