Raising Cane's to host grand opening for new location May 30

MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The fast-food chain known for its chicken fingers, Raising Cane's, is set hold the grand opening of their new Michigan City restaurant on Thursday, the company's seventh location here in Indiana.

Located at 500 Franklin Street, the new Raising Cane's will be open for business starting Thursday, May 30 at 10 a.m.

A variety of activities are scheduled for the day of the event, including pre-opening entertainment with music by DJ HotRod starting at 7 a.m., a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:15 a.m., and entries for a drawing that will award 20 people to win free Cane's for a year will be accepted from 8:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
