Reactor at Cook Nuclear to shutdown for fueling and maintenance

BRIDGMAN, Mich. -- At midnight, one of the reactors at the Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Bridgman is scheduled to go offline!

Indiana-Michigan Power said Unit 2 is being refueled.

Crews will also perform maintenance and test work.

The shutdown is expected to last about 30 days, but I&M said customers should not notice a difference.

Unit 1 will be refueled next year.
