MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Nine days of record-breaking temps in March was welcomed heat for ice cream shops across the area.
ABC57 stopped by Ritter’s Frozen Custard over the weekend. Workers there say they were taken off guard by the warm weather, but were happy the rise in temps turned out to mean a rise in business.
"I absolutely love it,” said Alex Hepburn. “Just all these people, having all these smiling people make it really easy to work here."
They said even with the cooler weekend, they have still seen better than normal business for the first week of spring.
